THE CREATION BANNERS

These banners hang in the sanctuary and are adapted from a Watkins Stained Glass design.

They depict the six days of the creation story found in Genesis 1:1-27.

~ The Six Days of Creation ~

1. Let there be light

2. Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters

3. Let the earth bring forth grass, herbs that yield seeds, trees that yield fruit

4. Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide day from night

5. Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures and let birds fly above the earth

6. Let there be creatures living on the land. And, finally, God created man in his own image
